Celebrated in April each year, National Donate Life Month (NDLM) features an entire month of local, regional, and national activities to help encourage Americans to register as organ, eye, and tissue donors and to celebrate those that have saved lives through the gift of donation.

Cooper Receives Award From NJ Sharing Network for Organ Transplant Awareness Efforts

Cooper University Health Care was among a select group of hospitals nationwide recognized for raising organ and tissue donation awareness in a national campaign sponsored by the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services’ Health Resources and Services Administration (HRSA). The campaign has added 400,000 registered organ and tissue donors since 2011.

Cooper conducted awareness and registry campaigns to educate staff, patients, visitors, and community members about the critical need for organ and tissue donors and, by doing so, increased the number of potential donors. Read more.
