Operation Backpack: Only Two Days Left to Help a Child Go Back to School!

The Clinical Operations staff donated four backpacks filled with school supplies to Operation Backpack. Pictured from left to right are Clinical Operations Director Mary Warrington, Staffing Scheduler Saboor Warren and Clinical Operations Director Sandy Collins.

It’s almost time to go back to school! Participate in Operation Backpack and help a child start the new school year off right.

Operation Backpack provides new backpacks filled with school supplies to children in the Cooper Plaza and Lanning Square neighborhoods. Last year, more than 250 local students received backpacks and school supplies through your generosity.

Here’s how it works. Fill a new backpack with any of the suggested school supplies—pens, markers, scissors, pencils, crayons, book sox, erasers, rulers, glue, notebooks, journals, pencil boxes, folders, sharpeners and calculators—and drop off the backpacks and school supplies now through Wednesday, August 14, 2013, at the following locations:

• Main Hospital – Errand Solutions, first floor
• Three Cooper Plaza – first floor lobby
• Voorhees Campus – Building One, atrium
• Cherry Hill – 3 Executive Campus, Billing Office, second floor
• The Cooper Foundation – 200 Federal Street, Suite 146, Camden
