Movie Night With the Population Health Institute

Watch a screening of the acclaimed documentary, “Escape Fire: The Fight to Rescue American Healthcare,” on Wednesday, October 2, 2013, at 5 p.m. at One Cooper Plaza,  P1014, Camden.

Named as an “Official Selection of the 2012 Sundance Film Festival,” the thought-provoking documentary exposes a U.S. health care system designed to profit from disease, not health; reward quantity over quality; and promote high tech over high touch. It interweaves dramatic personal stories with the efforts of leaders battling to transform health care at the highest levels of medicine, industry, government and even the U.S. military.

A discussion will be moderated by Anthony J. Mazzarelli, MD, JD, MBE, Senior Vice President of Operations, Deputy Chief Medical Officer and Medical Director, Population Health Institute.

The program is part of Cooper’s Population Health Academy, an educational forum created to provide members of our Cooper family and the medical community with insights into the dramatic transformation taking place in health care today.
