Stress Less
Join us and discover the effect that stress has on a women’s heart and learn to “stress less.” In this interactive program you’ll spend time in discussion with a female Cooper cardiologist, and then you’ll de-stress and learn the benefits yoga has on your body and mind. Please wear comfortable clothing and bring a yoga mat.

Happy Feet-Happy Heart
Joanne Mazzarelli, MD, Clinical Cardiologist, will discuss how making your feet move (exercise movement) will make your heart happy, or the benefits that exercise has on your heart. Following the discussion there will be an instructor-led Zumba class. Please wear comfortable clothing. Cooper-branded red socks will be given to attendees!

Good Fat vs. Bad Fat
Perry J. Weinstock, MD, Director of the Cooper Heart Institute and Head of the Division of Cardiovascular Disease, will lead this informative discussion. Following the discussion, participate in a cooking demonstration and sampling by Maureen Scaramella, Cooper’s Manager of Clinical Nutrition and Chef. Attendees will receive a copy of the American Heart Association Cookbook!
