Health Information Management (HIM) is an allied health profession that is responsible for ensuring the availability, accuracy and protection of clinical information. Sponsored by the American Health Information Management Association, Health Information Professionals Week is a national observance that aims to raise awareness of the important role that HIM professionals play in the delivery of quality health care to the public.
