Cooper Advanced Care Center Celebrates One-Year Anniversary

The Cooper Advanced Care Center, located at Three Cooper Plaza in suites 215, 220 and 403, is celebrating its one-year anniversary of providing outstanding care and improved appointment availability to uninsured and underinsured patients in and around Camden. The center offers twenty specialty services in addition to primary care and hosts “group visits” for patients with chronic illnesses. Innovative scheduling improvements, enhanced patient outreach and engagement, and provider flexibility supports the care of 600 to 700 patients each week at the center.

Since opening its doors, the center has been a media focus because of the innovative models to increase access and the care delivery system. Dan Gorenstein, a correspondent for American Public Media’s Marketplace, is a frequent visitor, reporting for the series “Diagnosis: Camden.”

During this week-long celebration, patients will be honored for their role in helping to make the center a success. Join us in congratulating the Cooper Urban Health Institute and Cooper Advanced Care Center team on their anniversary.

The center is funded in part by a grant from the Nicholson Foundation.
