Cooper Foundation: Ways to Support “Holiday of Hope” Campaign

The Cooper Foundation is once again offering several ways employees can make the holiday season a bit brighter for those less fortunate. Cooper employees are encouraged to take part in the following outreach opportunities either individually or with a group of coworkers.

Adopt-A-Family
This is a perfect group holiday project! Adopt a family and help them celebrate this holiday season. Volunteers of America Delaware Valley has provided a list of families that are in need of support. Each participant will receive information about their “adopted family,” including their ages, genders, sizes and wish list items.

Here’s how Adopt-A-Family works:

  • Participate as an individual or a group. If participating as a group, select a group leader.
  • Sign up now through December 12, 2014.
  • Email Trish Conti at the Cooper Foundation at conti-patricia@cooperhealth.edu to request a family.
  • Volunteers of America will distribute the gifts to the families.

Coats, Mittens and Scarves for Children
Now through December 12, 2014, the Cooper Foundation will collect new or gently used children’s coats, jackets, hats, scarves, mittens and socks for our young neighbors in Cooper Plaza and Lanning Square.

Sizes needed: Newborn up to adult 3XL

Drop-off locations:

  • Cooper University Hospital – Errand Solutions, first floor in the Roberts Pavilion
  • Three Cooper Plaza – lobby
  • Voorhees – Building 1, atrium
  • 3 Executive Campus – Billing Office reception area, second floor
