In recognition of World AIDS Day, Cooper’s Early Intervention Program will offer free HIV testing at Three Cooper Plaza, Suite 513, in Camden from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Monday, December 1, 2014.
On the same day, a health fair will be held from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. at New Visions Shelter at 523 Stevens Street, Camden. A variety of health information will be available on topics that include HIV prevention, cancer prevention, social service programs and volunteer opportunities. Additionally, there will be free dental and blood pressure screenings. Refreshments and giveaways will be offered, and participants may take part in a number of drawings for prizes.
