Last Call for “Adopt-A-Family” and “Coats, Mittens and Scarves for Children” Programs

It’s not too late to help those in need this holiday season. Cooper employees still have a little time to participate in some holiday-giving initiatives sponsored by the Cooper Foundation.

Adopt-A-Family

This is the perfect group holiday project! Volunteers of America Delaware Valley has provided a list of families that are in need of support. Each participant or group will receive information about their “adopted family,” including their ages, genders, sizes and wish-list items.

• Participate as an individual or a group. If participating as a group, select a group leader.
• Email Trish Conti at the Cooper Foundation at conti-patricia@cooperhealth.edu to request a family.
• Drop off collected gifts by Friday, December 12, 2014. Drop-off locations will be provided in the instructions when you sign up.
• Volunteers of America will distribute the gifts to the families.

Coats, Mittens and Scarves for Children

Now through Friday, December 12, 2014, the Cooper Foundation is also collecting new or gently used children’s coats, jackets, hats, scarves, mittens and socks for youngsters in the Cooper Plaza and Lanning Square neighborhoods.

Sizes needed: Newborn up to adult 3XL

Drop-Off Locations:
• Cooper Hospital – Errand Solutions, 1st Floor in Roberts Pavilion
