Cooper Medical School of Rowan University’s chapter of the American Medical Women’s Association (AMWA) is looking for female physicians who are interested in mentoring medical students. AMWA functions at the local, national and international level to advance women in medicine and improve women’s health by providing and developing leadership, advocacy, education, expertise, mentoring and strategic alliances. Effective mentorship helps students gain the knowledge, skills and resources necessary for a successful career in medicine. AMWA at CMSRU is building a robust mentorship program that will foster meaningful and productive relationships between physicians and medical students.
