Diabetes-Focus on Behavior Change

Diabetes self-management is the key to better living with diabetes. In this educational program, you will learn AADE7™ self-care behaviors needed for good self-care in diabetes including taking medications, correct injection of insulin, monitoring-tips on how to monitor blood glucose, healthy eating, being active, reducing risks, healthy coping and problem solving.

Meet the diabetes educators in Camden and become part of a citywide approach to provide better diabetes care. As an interactive program, participants will practice the skills addressed in each workshop in a relaxed, safe and enjoyable environment.

All participants will earn 3 CEU’s and improve their skills working with diabetes patients.
