Operation Backpack Seeks School Supplies for Neighborhood Children

Cooper University Health Care’s new partner school, KIPP Cooper Norcross Academy, is opening its doors this August to 600 Camden students in kindergarten through 8th grade. Our goal is to provide our students with new backpacks complete with school supplies. We Need Your Help!

You can make a difference! Just $5 to $10 from a group of 5, 10 or 15 employees can make a huge difference in Operation Backpack. Collect at your office or department and partner with The Cooper Foundation to ensure every student receives a backpack for the new school year!

Here’s how it works. Fill a new backpack with school supplies – pencils, crayons, book sox, pens, markers, scissors, erasers, rulers, glue, notebooks, journals, pencil boxes, folders, sharpeners, calculators, etc. Team up with your co-workers to chip in to divide the costs, buy in bulk, hunt for bargains and get more backpacks for your dollar, all while helping our neighborhood students.

Last year, more than 300 students received backpacks and school supplies through your generosity.

Drop off new backpacks and school supplies now through Monday, July 20, 2015, at:
• Camden, Cooper University Hospital, Errand Solutions, 1st Floor
• Camden, MD Anderson Cancer Center at Cooper, Two Cooper Plaza, 1st Floor Lobby
• Camden, Three Cooper Plaza, 1st Floor Lobby
• Camden, The Cooper Foundation, 200 Federal Street, Suite 146
• Cherry Hill, 3 Executive Campus, Billing Office, 2nd Floor
• Voorhees, 900 Centennial Boulevard, Building 1, Atrium Lobby
