Baby-Friendly Simulation Workshop

Baby-Friendly Simulation is designed to provide staff in the maternal-child health setting with hands-on experience regarding topics that support exclusive breastfeeding. An overview of the Baby-Friendly Initiative will be provided as well as our status in moving forward toward this designation.

Focus on the topics of skin-to-skin care, breast milk expression, post-partum care and breastfeeding challenges will allow multidisciplinary collaboration of health care professionals from various maternal-child health settings to understand how they can support the use of exclusive breast milk for the patient who chooses to deliver at Cooper University Hospital.
