Fundamentals in Insulin Therapy and Pregnancy for Women With Diabetes Programs

You can make a difference in the diabetes care of your patient! Earn three free CEUs and improve your skills and the lives of people with diabetes.

Fundamentals in Insulin Therapy Program
If your patient is on insulin, there is a good chance they are not taking insulin properly. The Diabetes Educators of Camden are committed to giving every patient in the community skills needed to take insulin properly.

Pregnancy for Women With Diabetes Program
Diabetes can be especially hard on women who are pregnant. The burden of diabetes on women is unique because the disease can affect both the mother and their unborn child. In this workshop you will:

• Review the various types of diabetes and their impact on maternal/fetal outcomes.
• Discuss guidelines for screening for diabetes in pregnancy.
• Summarize the principles of preconception care in women with preexisting diabetes.
• Describe the management of preexisting diabetes and GDM.
