October Is National Physical Therapy Month

pt monthCooper physical therapists treat more than 1,200 patients a month in the hospital alone and 1,500 on an outpatient basis.

The vision of the American Physical Therapy Association (APTA) is “Transforming society by optimizing movement to improve the human experience.” Here at Cooper, the hard-working physical therapists (PTs) strive to accomplish this with each of their patients. Physical therapists  and physical therapy assistants (PTAs) are state board-licensed musculoskeletal experts.

Physical therapists transform lives, one patient at a time; significantly improve mobility to perform daily activities; restore quality of life; provide an alternative to painful and expensive surgery; and manage or eliminate pain without long-term use of prescription medications and its side effects, in many cases.

When you pass a Cooper PT in the hall this month, be sure to extend a Happy PT Month greeting!
