This week, in support of the American Heart Association’s Go Red For Women and to raise awareness of cardiovascular disease in women, Cooper will illuminate the One Cooper Plaza light box and the Roberts Pavilion lobby in red.

A Women and Heart Disease information table will be outside the Cooper Court cafeteria at lunchtime on “Go Red” day, Friday, February 5, 2016.

Red scrub tops are allowed on this day only!

• Approximately 42 million women in the United States are affected by heart disease.
• Ninety percent of women have one or more risk factors for developing heart disease.
• Women’s heart disease symptoms are different from men’s and are often hidden or misunderstood.
