Nicole M. Fox, MD – Outstanding Service Award

Nicole joined the medical staff of Cooper University Health Care in July 2011 after completing a fellowship in Surgical Critical Care at Cooper. As a member of the Department of Surgery, she has been an attending Trauma surgeon, caring for injured and critically ill surgical patients, and those with acute general surgical disease.

Nicole has always had a strong interest in administrative activities. Under her leadership as Director of Pediatric Trauma, Cooper attained verification by the American College of Surgeons as a Level II Pediatric Trauma Center in 2015.

In 2013, Nicole became the Medical Director of Cooper’s Clinical Documentation Program. Her ongoing commitment to this program – working directly with members of the Medical Staff, and through her documentation specialists – has resulted in millions of dollars of income for the health system.

Even with all of these professional accomplishments during the last 3 years, she found time to give birth to triplets in January of 2015.

Thank you, Nicole, for your leadership and support of Cooper University Health Care.
