October Is Physical Therapy Month – Meet Our Team

At Cooper, our physical therapists work in a variety of teams with each team providing treatment focused on a specialty population. Throughout the month of October – Physical Therapy month — we’ll be highlighting different team members so you can get to know them and understand their role.

nickNick Caputo has been a Physical Therapist for over three years and received his Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from UMDNJ and Rutgers University in 2013. He began his career working for NovaCare and joined the Cooper Rehab team in February of 2015. While he has mainly been in an outpatient orthopaedic setting, he has experience treating a variety of musculoskeletal disorders, trauma injuries, and neurological diseases. Nick is also a Certified LSVT BIG Clinician which is a specialized program for treating Parkinson’s disease.

eileenEileen Veit is a Physical Therapist Assistant and has been working at Cooper for almost four years. She graduated from Hahnemann University in 1994 with her Physical Therapist Assistant degree. She has over 20 years of experience in numerous clinical settings including pediatrics, geriatrics, and outpatient orthopaedics. Eileen is also a Certified LSVT BIG Clinician and has experience treating lymphedema patients as well.

 

Together, Nick and Eileen work as team treating their patients on a daily basis. They are both passionate about their profession and strive to make each patient’s experience the best possible. By providing individualized care they are able to incorporate each patient’s needs into their treatment programs to achieve their goals.
