Time Is Running Out to Choose Your 2017 Health Benefits During Open Enrollment

For the 2017 Employee Benefits, your action is required during open enrollment. Current and newly hired employees in 2016, who are eligible for Cooper Health Plans, must choose a Medical Plan or waive health insurance coverage through Employee Self-Service (ESS).  The 2017 Employee Benefits Open Enrollment period ends on Tuesday, November 22, 2016. In addition, you must attest to being a Non-Tobacco or Tobacco user.

If you do not enroll or waive health insurance coverage, you will be placed in the Cooper Core Plan–Employee Only coverage and will not receive the Tobacco discount, effective January 1, 2017.

You can view the 2017 Open Enrollment Guide as well as the 2017 Benefits Highlights Booklet on Employee Self Service (ESS). Log onto ESS, click on the Open Enrollment link to view the 2017 materials.

Remember to print your enrollment confirmation statement at the time you complete your elections via ESS. The enrollment confirmation statement will not be mailed to your home.
