Seminar: Baby Friendly Simulation

This free seminar is designed to provide staff in the maternal-child health setting with hands-on experience regarding topics that support exclusive breastfeeding. An overview of the Baby Friendly Initiative will be provided as well as our status in moving forward toward this designation.

Focus on the topics of skin-to-skin care, breast milk expression, post-partum care, and breastfeeding challenges will allow multidisciplinary collaboration of health care professionals from various maternal and child health settings to understand how they can support the use of exclusive breast milk for the patient who chooses to deliver at Cooper University Health Care.
