We have great news to share! On Thursday of last week, The Joint Commission notified us that Cooper’s stroke program received Advanced Certification as a Comprehensive Stroke Center. The Joint Commission surveyed Cooper’s stroke program last month.
The Advanced Certification as a Comprehensive Stroke Center recognizes Cooper among those hospitals with the resources, staff, and training capable of receiving and treating the most complex stroke cases. Cooper is the first hospital in South Jersey with this Certification. Receiving Advanced Certification as a Comprehensive Stroke Center is another demonstration of our commitment to our patients and to providing the highest level of care.
