World Sepsis Congress Spotlight: Maternal and Neonatal Sepsis

On Tuesday, September 12, 2017, the Global Sepsis Alliance and the World Health Organization will host the World Sepsis Congress (WSC) Spotlight: Maternal and Neonatal Sepsis.

The WSC Spotlight is a free online congress in the style of the first World Sepsis Congress last year. This year the focus will be on maternal and neonatal sepsis. It is a great opportunity for you to connect and learn with leading sepsis experts from around the globe – right from your home or office.

We are endorsing this innovative online-only congress and encourage you to participate. The activity is completely free of charge and can be done from wherever you have an internet connection.

To register now or to learn more about the program, speakers, time zones, and much more please go to www.wscspotlight.org.

In four distinctive sessions, more than 20 speakers from all around the world will share their knowledge on maternal and neonatal sepsis and give updates on sepsis in 10-minute presentations and keynotes. After each talk, the speakers will answer live questions from the audience. After the congress, all presentations will be available to view on demand on the World Sepsis Congress YouTube channel and as a podcast on Apple Podcasts.

Opening session: “Sepsis: The Challenges of Medicine, Politics, and Society”

Session Two: “Maternal Sepsis”

Session Three: “Neonatal Sepsis”
