The purpose of this notice is to inform you of a planned Lexmark Perceptive Content downtime.

Please review the details below. Thank you!

DATE:  Tuesday, June 5 through Wednesday, June 6

PLANNED DURATION:  8 p.m. – 7 a.m. (11 hours)

DESCRIPTION:  The Lexmark Production system will be brought down starting at 8pm for up to 11  hours to migrate its database to SQL 2016 server, upgrade application to version 7.2.2, and update the client on the Epic Citrix servers.  This is upgrade is necessary to be able to resolve the following  issues:

  • View Invoice buttons –View Invoice button on Lawson invoice-related screens to retrieve an invoice image.
  • Cashier Voucher Automated Approval – Cashier voucher forms (check requests) should be automatically routed to the proper managers for approval based on cost center and dollar amount. Cashier voucher forms do not display properly and users are sometimes seeing a black screen.

IMPACT:  All users performing scanning, document viewing, and/or Esignature functions within Perceptive will impacted by the downtime and should use their paper processes.  This includes ED, HIM, ambulatory and urgent care centers performing scanning functions between the scheduled downtime duration.  Though billing, Accounts Payable and Human Resources use this application for scanning and or indexing functions, they should not be impacted by the downtime.  Epic Media manager scanning will not be impacted by this downtime.  Due to the required maintenance for the Epic Citrix servers, some users may be required to exit and relaunch Epic between 11:00pm and 12:30am.  If this is required of you, an alert will be sent to your Epic session, and you can immediately launch a new Epic session if requested or logged out during this period.

OTHER AFFECTED SYSTEMS:  Some Epic users may be logged out of their session between 11:00pm and 12:30am for the required maintenance install.  If this occurs, Epic can be immediately launched again into a new session.
