Please be advised that tomorrow, Wednesday, August 22, 2018, the replacement of service elevator car #21 in the Dorrance Building will begin.
This elevator services the Mother/Infant, Maternal-Fetal, and Labor & Delivery units. Patient movement and safety will be impacted during the period of replacement, which should last until mid-October. The affected departments have made plans for alternate and emergency routes.
Employees who use this elevator should plan accordingly. Staff who have card reader access to car #20 will be able to access the NICU and Labor & Delivery Triage from the elevator on the north side of the building.
