As part of Cooper’s #everyBODYmoves initiative, an intradisciplinary team traveled to Johns Hopkins Hospital in Baltimore, MD, to participate in the 7th Annual Johns Hopkins Activity and Mobility Program conference (JH-AMP). The JH-AMP conference helps support health systems to make patient mobility an institutional priority and brings together clinicians, researchers, improvement professionals and executives to share best practices, tools and resources.
Diane Floyd, MSN, TCRN, CCRN-K, NEA-BC; Savannah Lombardi, MSN, RN; Amber Zamrin, DrOT, OTR/L; and Kevin Wegner, OTD, OTR/L, CLT, CSRS, CBIS, CDP, joined speakers from the U.S. and around the world, from Hawaii, to Australia to Bermuda. They highlighted Cooper’s success and presented at the Excellence in Practice showcase.
Many thanks to the team leading this important effort, the Cooper certified educators who lead the training of their peers, and the support of everyone caring for our patients in the hospital. Congratulations to all as you near the one-year anniversary of the initiative at Cooper.
