Cooper is using a new vendor, The Work Number® by Equifax, to complete all employment verification requests.
This new service is a fully automated service that streamlines the verification process between Cooper and those seeking to confirm an individual’s employment. Verification is often required when a person leases an apartment, applies for a loan or public aid, updates their immigration status, or applies for a job.
The Work Number system allows Cooper to offer:
- A prompt response to verifiers online 24 hours a day, seven days a week.
- A secure, paperless way to provide proof of your employment or income.
- Strict security standards and protocols to protect your personal data.
To submit a request for employment verification, you simply provide the name of your employer and The Work Number web address (www.theworknumber.com) to the person seeking verification of your employment. Upon your consent, that person can submit your employment verification request to The Work Number.
