MD Anderson Cancer Center at Cooper Hosted Biden Cancer Community Summit in Conjunction With Congressman Donald Norcross

On Friday, September 21, 2018, MD Anderson Cancer Center at Cooper in conjunction with U.S. Congressman Donald Norcross (NJ-01) participated in the Biden Cancer Community Summit to hear local perspectives on treatment, proposals for federal actions, and personal stories from a panel of cancer survivors, family caregivers, doctors, and nurses.

“In the midst of our daily work, it’s important to pause and discuss these vital issues. MD Anderson at Cooper was honored to host this event along with Congressman Norcross,” said Generosa Grana, MD, Director of MD Anderson at Cooper. “We are proud to be one of the organizations across the nation that participated in this important national dialogue.”

The Biden Cancer Initiative was launched to form a cohesive, comprehensive, and timely approach to cancer prevention, diagnosis, research, and care.
