Updated! Keeping It Steady

The Keeping It Steady Challenge aims to inspire participants to make it a priority to take care of themselves. Throughout this six-week challenge, participants will engage on a daily basis in one or more simple, self-care activities to ensure well-being doesn’t take a backseat to other priorities.

The challenge will begin on Monday, November 26, 2018, and will continue through Friday, January 4, 2019.

Participants track their activity online from a desktop or mobile device. Progress may be viewed via the web site. Participants earn 10 points for each self-care activity completed daily. Seven activities are included. A weekly bonus of 25 points can be earned by reflecting on their self-care experience in documented form to another individual, posting on the site, or journaling.

The Goal Is to Collect Six Challenge Keys:
As individuals score points by completing activities and logging them via the online tracker, they will earn milestones. The milestones for this challenge will show at these point totals:

  • Key 1 = 390 points
  • Key 2 = 789 points
  • Key 3 = 1,170 points
  • Key 4 = 1,560 points
  • Key 5 = 1,950 points
  • Key 6 = 2,340 points (challenge completion)*

*For the 2,340 points prize, a $100 Amazon gift card will be awarded. (A raffle will be held if there are multiple winners.)

Bonus Key = 2,700 points bonus prize: $250 Spa Envy gift card (A raffle will be held if there are multiple winners.)

All activities are self-directed and can be tracked via mobile app or desktop.

Activities Include:

  • Take a walk outside.
  • Get at least six hours of sleep.
  • Eat three servings of fruits and vegetables a day.
  • Practice gratitude.
  • Stretch for 10 minutes.
  • Drink at least three glasses of water per day.
  • Take screen-free breaks.
