CIO Jay Raman Is Retiring

After a successful seven-year tenure at Cooper University Health Care, Jay Raman, Senior Vice President and Chief Information Officer, has decided to retire at the end of March 2019. Jay joined Cooper in 2012 after serving in a number of senior leadership positions with the Reading Hospital and Medical Center and Stanley Healthcare Solutions. Jay has been instrumental in improving our IT systems and overseeing and stabilizing our conversion to Epic. We are grateful for all Jay has done to help us succeed over the past several years of tremendous growth at Cooper. We wish her all the best in retirement.

A national search will be launched to fill Jay’s position. Upon Jay’s retirement and until her replacement is named, we have appointed Dustin Hufford as Interim Chief Information Officer and Joe Collins as Interim Chief Technology Officer to lead these functions.

Please join us in thanking Jay for her many years of outstanding service and thanking Dustin and Joe for agreeing to new leadership roles during this transition.
