- On February 28, 2019, we were live with Shay DiBartolomeo, MSN, RN, Clinical Director; Shannon Burke, BSN, RN, Associate Clinical Director; and Sarah Hummer, BSN, RN; all from Kelemen 8, a medical-surgical telemetry unit that predominantly sees patients requiring cardiac care.
- On March 28, 2019, we were live with Stephanie Urbanski, Clinical Director; Julie Hunter, RN; and Rebecca Yarnall, Interim Associate Clinical Director; on Kelemen 10 at Cooper. K10 is a fast-paced med-surg unit that also treats telemetry and intermediate care patients: three units in one. This unit includes wound care, dialysis, and vented patients, building a broad base of knowledge and experience, especially for a new-to-practice RN.
- On April 16, 2019, we were live with Jillian Curnew, MSN, RN, Clinical Educator II; Krystal Lazos BSN, RN, Clinical Director of Kelemen 9; and Amanda Roma, BSN, RN. This unit specializes in the delivery of high-level nursing care to the medical and surgical population. Telemetry monitoring is performed by trained, certified staff for patients with cardiac needs. Patients on this unit have a range of conditions from gastrointestinal ailments to requiring post-operative care.
At Cooper, our medical-surgical team includes experienced and new-to-practice nurses. As the only Level 1 Trauma Center in South Jersey, our med-surg nurses provide high-level, compassionate care to patients who need us most.
