The Epic Upgrade goes live on Sunday, June 2, 2019, and it includes exciting changes to improve your workflows and overall experience. Training materials are now available to help you get ready for the upcoming changes.

These eLearnings will be auto-assigned to those directly impacted, but are available to anyone who is interested. Super users must view eLearnings relevant to their area before attending their training session/lab.
- RN015 The Brain – The Brain is the new hub for inpatient nursing workflows. From the Brain, nurses can find patient records and complete documentation and med-related workflows. No more jumping from list to list or activity to activity.
- RN016 Nursing LDA Avatar – The Avatar is a visual tool that allows nurses to document lines, drains, and airways using an intuitive image of the human body. Different LDAs are represented by icons and colors, giving the nurse a complete picture of a patient’s ins and outs.
- AMB008 Visit Taskbar – The Visit Task Bar is the reimagined ordering workflow for outpatient clinicians. Clinicians can now place orders from any screen in the encounter using the new task bar at the bottom of the activity. The Visit Task Bar workflow replaces Order Entry and eliminates the need to leave an activity to place orders.
