#FindYourHealth for National Women’s Health Week

Cooper is celebrating the 20th annual National Women’s Health Week from May 12 to May 18, 2019.

During National Women’s Health Week, women are encouraged to make their health a priority. Women are often so busy juggling the day-to-day responsibilities and caring for others that it can sometimes feel impossible to find the time to focus on their own needs.

Here are some friendly reminders and tips for taking steps towards a healthier you:

  • Schedule your well-woman visit (annual checkup), preventive screenings, and vaccines.
  • Cooper Primary Care has more than 20 office locations staffed with physicians and advanced practice providers who offer early morning and evening appointments to fit into a woman’s busy lifestyle.
  • Cooper’s Ripa Center for Women’s Health and Wellness in Voorhees offers same-day primary care appointments and a wide-range of specialty care, in addition to on-site 3D screening mammography, bone density scans, and general ultrasounds.
  • Cooper also has five office locations for general Obstetrics and Gynecology providing women’s health care at all stages of their lives.

To schedule an appointment with a Cooper OB-GYN or Primary Care provider, call 1.800.8.Cooper (1.800.826.6737) or visit CooperHealth.org to schedule an appointment online.

  • Get active.
  • Eat healthy.
  • Pay attention to your mental health, which includes sleep and stress management.
  • Practice safe behaviors, such as quitting smoking and not texting while driving.
