Donkey’s Place Joins Anthony Bourdain Food Trail

Donkey’s Place, a time-honored Camden institution located in the Parkside section of the city, was recently named one of ten sites on the Anthony Bourdain Food Trail. The food trail was adopted by the New Jersey Division of Travel and Tourism in January 2019 and honors the late chef, author, and television personality.

Last week, state officials and Bourdain’s brother, Chris Bourdain, visited Donkey’s Place to officially welcome the restaurant to the food trail. You can view media coverage of the event here.

Bourdain, a New Jersey native, brought national attention to Camden when he featured Donkey’s Place in an episode of his television show, Parts Unknown.
