Recognizing Health Care’s Risk Management Professionals

In honor of Health Care Risk Management Week, Cooper University Health Care recognizes the critical role that our health care risk management professionals play in patient safety, patient care practices, quality assurance, safe work environments, and the prevention of liability issues.

Established in 1980 by the American Society for Health Care Risk Management, this week of recognition aims to promote solutions to help prevent some of the most common patient safety events. This year’s theme is Leaders in Safe and Trusted Health Care. The theme celebrates the achievement of all health care risk management professionals, and highlights their leadership in advancing patient safety, reducing uncertainty, and maximizing value across the health care enterprise.

Cooper recognizes the important role that each of our employees, along with our Risk Management professionals, plays in promoting safe and trusted health care to ensure that patient safety is a top priority. As we celebrate this special week, we applaud everyone’s efforts in promoting a safe environment for our patients and employees.
