The Education and Research (E&R) building will be closed this weekend from Friday, June 21 at 6:30 p.m. through Monday, June 24, 2019, at 6:30 a.m. The closure is necessary for crews to connect the building to our new power plant.
During the shutdown staff and visitors will not have access to the building.
In preparation for the building closure, please:
- Take home belongings that you might need over the weekend.
- Remove all food and drink from staff refrigerators and freezers – defrost freezers in advance.
- Power down your laptops and desktop computers – you do not need to unplug them from the walls.
- Unplug key lab equipment that does not need to be on emergency power (microscopes, analyzers, etc.).
