The Infection Prevention Department did an educational session with questions and raffled off three baskets.
There were five categories of infection prevention-related material and a couple of questions under each category (hand hygiene, Cdiff, CLABSI, CAUTI, and Flu). Our staff, physician, and medical and nursing students participated in this. We gave away small bottles of alcohol sanitizers and alcohol spray for sanitizing stethoscopes. We had 95 professionals who answered questions and entered the raffle.
The three lucky raffle winners are:
Anil Bhatnagar (CMSRU student) won the Italian basket with lots of delicious pasta, olive oil, and sauce.
Donna Gillan (Clinical Operation Coordinator) won the movie basket with movie tickets and lots of yummy candies.
Alex Hanretty (Clinical Pharmacist) won the s’mores and hot chocolate basket.
