New Workstations and WoWs

As part of Cooper’s Strategic Plan to achieve Operational Excellence, we are making a number of significant investments to Cooper’s infrastructure and technology.

These investments are designed to make our work easier, more efficient, and more effective in serving our patients. We will be sending updates on a number of  investments over the coming weeks.

This week, we  will begin replacing workstations and WoWs (workstations on wheels) in the clinical areas and physician, APP, and medical student workrooms. The new workstations and WoWs have larger screens and more processing power as well as built-in DVD players, cameras, and badge readers. Each unit will also have designated WoWs for provider rounding. The new equipment will be installed over the next few months.

These investments are part of our ongoing effort to make Cooper the best place to be a patient, the best place to be an employee, and the best place to practice medicine.
