Camden County’s Newton Avenue Signal and Alignment Project aims to upgrade utilities, road surface, streetscape, traffic signals, curb ramps, and sidewalks along Newton Avenue near Cooper. as the project also is designed to improve the traffic flow of this diagonal corridor and support the revitalization of the neighborhood along Newton Avenue (between Kaighns Avenue/4th Street and Pine/7th Streets).
County officials recently held a public information meeting to review proposed alternatives for improvements and get community feedback. They are seeking additional feedback via a survey.
