The intended audience for this conference includes primary care physicians and specialists in nephrology and cardiology. Residents, fellows, physician assistants, advanced practice nurses, and other physicians with an educational need or interest in this topic may also attend.

Overall Learner Objectives:

  • Describe current guidelines for blood pressure (BP).
  • Identify potential benefits and limitations of the office and home BP measurement techniques.
  • Understand the beneficial impact BP control can have on the cardiovascular system.
  • Understand renal nerve mechanisms which impact BP regulation.
