Duration: Approximately four hours
Description: The Rals point-of-care system will be unavailable for approximately four hours while an upgrade is performed.
Impact: During the downtime, point-of-care testing devices, such as glucometer, will not be updated with patient demographics. You will be able to scan patient armbands, run tests, and receive test results at the patient’s bedside. However, test results will not be available in Epic until the downtime has concluded.
Other Affected Systems: No additional systems will be affected by the downtime.
