Don’t Be Alarmed by the Fire Truck!

Cooper is replacing the Kelemen fire pump as a scheduled capital upgrade project. On Wednesday, October 7, 2020, the temporary fire pump will be set on the sidewalk with a small boom truck and a fence will be installed around it. The sidewalk will be closed in the area of the work – click here to see the area affected. On Thursday and Friday, the team will be hooking up the temporary pump while we prepare to replace the permanent pump. At 7 a.m. on Saturday, October 10, 2020, the fire department will be on site as we take the building off the permanent pump and onto the temporary. It will take several weeks to replace the permanent pump. There will be a similar event when we switch back onto the new pump. We will notify you as additional work is scheduled.

Also, on October 10, 2020, there will be a crane in the Kelemen circle removing the temporary chiller that has been there this summer.
