Certified Nurses Day Is Coming!

In celebration of Certified Nurses Day – March 19, 2021 – Cooper University Health Care honors the commitment, expertise, and achievements of our certified nurses.

Cooper’s certified nurses are clinical experts dedicated to providing high-quality, evidence-based clinical care to more than 1.6 million patients each year.

To become certified, nurses undergo a formal process through nationally recognized credentialing centers, including the American Nurses Credentialing Center, to validate their knowledge, skills, and abilities in a defined role and clinical area of practice. They must achieve certification credentials through specialized education, experience in a specialty area, and completion of a rigorous qualifying exam.

Nursing certification requires life-long learning and skill development to maintain. As part of their commitment to continued competency, certified nurses maintain their knowledge through specialized continuing education throughout their careers.

Thank you to Cooper’s certified nurses for providing high quality, compassionate care to our patients.
