New Interpreter Provider – Voyce

Beginning Wednesday, April 14, the first phase of Voyce implementation will begin in all patient-facing departments and locations. Voyce is a new interpreter provider that will replace our current provider, Cyracom.

Ensuring that we can communicate clearly and accurately with patients about their diagnosis, prognosis, treatment, care instructions, and feedback is crucial. Voyce will provide our Cooper team with standard over-the-phone interpretation services, as well as video remote interpretation through vendor-provided iPads so that live interpreters can be requested when and where they are needed.

Cooper has been successfully piloting Voyce in several key locations throughout the health system, including the Patient Access Center, Emergency Department, Cooper Specialty Care at Cherry Hill, and the Keleman building.

This initial phase will include the delivery and set-up of equipment and staff training. Prior to this phase beginning, a person will be identified to act as your team’s point of contact for each department and/or location.

Leaders should contact Jinely Rosado with any questions or concerns.
