Earlier today, there was a non-Cooper-related incident where shots were fired from one vehicle towards another vehicle as the two cars were passing near the intersection of Haddon Avenue and Benson Street. We are advised that the drivers of the cars know each other.
The Cooper-assigned Camden County Sheriff’s officers immediately pursued the suspect vehicles. No injuries have been reported. There is an ongoing investigation by both Camden Metro Police and the Camden County Sheriff’s Department.
