Open Enrollment: NOW Through November 17, 2021

This year’s Cooper team member benefits open enrollment will take place starting today through November 17, 2021. We are very excited to announce an all-new virtual benefits fair experience along with several enhancements. You will be able view the 2022 open enrollment virtual benefits fair starting today from a computer or mobile device, by going to CooperVB.com.

  • Current participants in the Basic, Core, and Standard plans will enjoy passive enrollment for 2022 (no action is required) unless you decide to make a change to your existing benefit elections.
  • If you wish to fund a Flexible Spending Account (medical or dependent), you will need to take action to enroll for 2022. This benefit option does not carry over from the prior year.
  • There are NO increases to dental, vision, or voluntary life insurance premiums; therefore, these plans are also included in passive enrollment and will automatically continue for the 2022 plan year.

2022 Benefit Enhancements:

  • Behavioral health 100% coverage in Tier 1 and Tier 2
  • Expanded infertility treatment coverage with an Independence Administrators provider
  • Expanded outpatient rehabilitation coverage with Independence Administrator providers
  • Dental implant coverage

If you are adding a dependent to your benefit coverage, you will be required to provide their social security number in employee self-service. This information is required for your dependent(s) to receive coverage.

Open enrollment materials, which include the 2022 biweekly contributions for medical, dental, and vision coverage along with the complete 2022 Benefits Highlights Booklet, are currently available online. You may access this information through Employee Self-Service > Benefits > Benefit Booklet. These resources will provide useful information to help you select the plan that best meets your needs and your budget.
