In 2018, Cooper established the Military Person of the Year Award – now called the Armed Forces Person of the Year Award – to honor a deserving team member who has made significant contributions to Cooper or in the community. The award is presented to the winner in November.
Nominations are now open. To be eligible for nomination for the award, a team member must be a veteran or an active member of the military in any branch (Army, Navy, Air Force, Marines, Coast Guard, Space Force, or National Guard) and have been employed at Cooper for one year.
