Members of Cooper’s Military, Diplomatic, and Field Surgical Affairs Department Attend Army Medicine Military-Civilian Partnership Summit

Dr. John Chovanes, Tim Galvin, and Tim Boyce – members of Cooper’s Military, Diplomatic, and Field Surgical Affairs Department – recently attended the Army Medicine Military-Civilian Partnership Summit at Defense Health Headquarters, Office of the Army Surgeon General in Falls Church, VA. The meeting provided a forum for Army Medicine to meet with civilian partners to share best practices and lessons learned and to identify opportunities for improvement and growth. Leaders from eight health care systems, including Cooper, attended. Dr. Chovanes was the lead speaker and was presented with a special token from U.S. Army Surgeon General R.
