On January 19, 2023, Cooper Community Outreach, in partnership with Councilwoman Shaneka Boucher, hosted a screening event for Camden residents at Shalom Baptist Church. Participants received screenings for oral cancer and skin cancer along with COVID-19 vaccinations, asthma screenings, and lead education. Participants also received free winter coats and food boxes.
A special thank you to MD Anderson Cancer Center at Cooper, the Ambulatory COVID Operations team, and the Pulmonology team for educating and providing health services to the community.
