CMSRU Library Internship Fund

Cooper Medical School of Rowan University (CMSRU) invites Cooper team members to support the CMSRU Library Internship Fund. The fund was established in memory of Karen Stesis, CMSRU’s beloved medical librarian who sadly passed away in 2021, to carry on her legacy of love for education and her compassion for the Camden community. The CMSRU Library Internship Fund will provide a paid internship to a Camden junior or senior high school student who is interested in becoming a library professional. The chosen student will learn from some of the very best – CMSRU’s own library staff.

To support the fund, visit the CMSRU Medical Education Building or the Medical Library at Cooper University Hospital on Wednesday, March 8, 2023 – special donation jars will be available at both locations. Donations will directly benefit the CMSRU Library Internship Fund. As a thank you, CMSRU will offer complimentary hamantaschen – one of Karen’s favorite desserts to bake – for those who stop by.

You can also support the fund online during Rowan’s Day of Giving on March 8 by clicking here.
