Gastroenterology Division Teams Up to Donate to Ronald McDonald House Southern New Jersey

We’re thrilled to share that Adam Elfant, MD, FACG, and the Adult Health Institute Gastroenterology Division, in partnership with Cooper Digestive Health Institute of Mount Laurel and the Gastroenterology Special Testing Unit in Camden, came together to donate to the Ronald McDonald House Southern New Jersey, located in Camden. Donations included books for children, oven mitts, towels, serving utensils, paper towels, toilet paper, canned goods, cereal, snacks, juices, and water.

The Ronald McDonald House supports families of seriously ill children who travel great distances to receive life-saving treatment. They provide lodging, meals, transportation to/from the hospital, and many additional resources at no cost to families. To help create a community of comfort and care, the Ronald McDonald House offers themed bedrooms, a cinema/game room, workspace for children and parents who are working remotely, a gym, a clubhouse, an outdoor playground, and more. Thank you to our Cooper team members for spreading the love and making a positive impact in our community! We’re proud to have a team that understands the importance of giving back.
